Dacryocystography is a specialized radiographic technique that involves injecting contrast material into the lacrimal sac via the puncta, followed by imaging to reveal the nasolacrimal duct system. This technique can provide precise information about the obstruction’s location and the anatomy of the lacrimal drainage system. It is especially useful for assessing complex cases and planning surgical interventions.

Differential Diagnosis

It is critical to distinguish dacryocele from other sources of medial canthal swelling.
